Who we are

Deer Streams runs a 24/7 live wildlife camera from Canada, streamed on YouTube. Contact: deerstreams25@gmail.com.

Information we collect

1. The sponsor enquiry form collects what you type in it (such as your name, company, email and message). It's processed by our host, Netlify, and used only to reply to you about sponsorship.
2. We use Google Analytics to see anonymous, aggregated visit stats (pages viewed, clicks on sponsor links, rough region, device type).
3. We don't sell your information and we don't run ads on this site.

YouTube

The live stream is an embedded YouTube player. YouTube/Google may set cookies and collect data under Google's Privacy Policy.

Sponsor and affiliate links

Some sponsor links (such as GardePro) are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

YouTube channel data

Deer Streams uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API only to read our own channel's stats (views, watch time, subscribers) for internal reporting. We don't access, store or share any viewer's personal data through these APIs. Our use follows the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. You can review third-party access via https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

How long we keep it

Sponsor form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry; analytics data follows Google Analytics' default retention.

Your choices

Email us to see, correct or delete anything you sent us through the form. You can block cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We'll update this page and the "Last updated" date if anything changes.
